Everyone has those favorite outfits, shirts, skirts, blankets, and even socks. :-) This design was created for a customer who always remembered her parents wearing certain pieces of clothing through the seasons that always represented comfort and home.

Don't let those precious memories disappear. Bring your family's ripped shirts, outdated skirts, clothes your children have outgrown and have a quilt or wall hanging to display of those memories for generations to come.

Okay, this is probably the only exception to my superstition about not making ANYTHING that involves the slightest where weddings are concerned. But this was a work of love and had to admit turned out rather awesome, if I do say so myself.

Designs of this nature are fun and challenging but also take time. So anyone wanting to have a special quilt made needs to understand the time, especially the hand stitching (my friend, Diana, pictured here helped me) needed to finish. Think Amish but just a bit less expensive.

Lined denim jackets take several weeks to months to create.  If just lined, several weeks, but if any designs like reverse applique, or simple patchwork design take time to design a fun color balance.

The end result is one jacket that is unique that no one else has in their wardrobe.  Some may be similar but no design is ever exactly the same.
